The Lleida-Huesca (or A-22) highway connects the two cities allowing access to the AP-2 highway and the A-2, A-14 and A-27 highways. The Study Report proposes and studies alternative routes for connecting two corridors, the Levante Somport highway and the Lleida-Barcelona highway, by way of an axis with important industrial developments in intermediary nuclei (Almacelles, Binéfar, Monzón and Barbastro). The alternative selected is 106.25 km long. It runs between K.P. 95.00 and 210.00, through 21 municipalities. Key structures include a bridge over the River Flumen, a bridge over the River Alcanadre and a cut-and-cover tunnel in Pla de la Sardera.
