On the north face of the intermodal station of Delicias, in order to substantially improve access to the city and the station, an infrastructure has been designed known as the “Northern Ring”, which is also the beginning of the A-68. To achieve this, the two main levels (levels 200 and 208) have been connected by means of reinforced earth walls and footbridges. The project also includes the exit tunnel from El Portillo, access to the southern car park of Expo 2008 and pre-installation of a pneumatic refuse collection system.
