Detailed design for the clearance upgrade of the structures on the Algeciras-Zaragoza rail motorway. Section: Bobadilla (kilometre 123.00, line 430)-kilometre 336.363 (line 200)

SERS drew up the detailed designs for the clearance upgrade of the structures on the Algeciras–Zaragoza rail motorway, on the section between Bobadilla, kp 123+000 of line 430, and kp 336+363 of line 200.

The purpose of the work was to define everything needed to adapt the existing structures along the rail corridor to the clearance requirements of the future rail motorway, developing the corresponding detailed designs for the various interventions included in the section.

The work covered the analysis of the affected structures and the definition of the upgrading solution required in each case, including its construction development and the technical documents needed to build it. Because of the area covered and the number of independent interventions making up the contract, the work called for consistent coordination of design criteria and of the definition of the different interventions along the corridor.
