Hydrological and hydraulic study at the MAGNA LAYDOWN site (Saudi Arabia)
The project covers the design and sizing of the stormwater drainage system for the Magna Laydown site, in order to ensure the proper collection, conveyance and discharge of runoff, both from the internal surfaces of the development and from the external catchments draining towards its facilities.
SERS’s work includes the hydraulic sizing of the internal stormwater network and the study of inflows from the external catchments, as well as the design of perimeter channels to intercept and convey runoff.
The project also includes the sizing of attenuation ponds, sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS) and oil separators, together with the design of riprap protection to ensure the stability and proper operation of the hydraulic infrastructure.
The work is completed with hydrological and hydraulic models, plans and longitudinal profiles of the networks and channels, construction details, calculation reports and quantities of the designed units.
Together, these actions define a comprehensive stormwater management solution aimed at protecting the facilities and ensuring effective, controlled drainage of the site.
